Review: Trattoria da nennella – Napoli

Today it’s time to share my impressions about my favorite restaurant in Naples. I’m not neither talking about a pizzeria nor an elegant restaurant. It’s a simple restaurant however, the foods are amazing. The service is fast and the stuff is extremely friendly. For sure, you are going to feel yourself at home. There is no restaurant menu and nobody brings you the bill after you end your meal. The waitress helps you both for choosing the foods and bringing the check without asking for it.

The dishes are extra-ordinary. They are simple, but delicious ones. I’ve started, like Italians, with the first dish (primo piatto). I ate pasta with prosciutto cotto e panna (typical Italian ham and cream). It was really tasty. If you want to enrich the taste, you can ask for some parmigiano cheese. They will serve parmigiana cheese for free.

As a second dish (second piatto), I had a chance to taste fish there. It was a really delicious Gilt-head bream. They serve the fish with the lemon and some mixed fresh vegetables. Fish is simply cooked on the barbeque, but chef added some butter I guess. It was simple but yummy.

After the meal, according to your preference, you can order liquor or dessert and enjoy it. They have a changeable dessert menu actually, but the desserts are also remarkable. They have typical Italian desserts there.

The place located in the hearth of the city. It’s in the Spanish quarter region and quite easy to find. If the weather is nice and warm, your are lucky. Take a seat in the garden, they have a beautiful place in front of the restaurant.

Cost:It is not that much expensive. With 25 €, you will be satisfied.
Quality:High quality dishes for typical southern italian foods
Service: Warm place. Friendly People.

I extremely recommend you to visit Naples and come to taste these typical Neapolitan dishes. You will not regret for sure.
