As my followers know, I have been living in Italy for 1 and half year and I am studying food engineering. So finally I’ve decided to post a new entry about “Italy” and “Food”. Actually I’ve been thinking of preparing a new article about this subject for a while, however I had been waiting in order to have a sufficient knowledge about this phenomena. So, today is the day !! In order to give information and share my expressions in depth, I keep on writing about “Italy and Food” for the next blog entries.
As you can easily guess, Italian cuisine is not consisting of “pizza” and “pasta”! I accept that these are very famous, however other tasty kinds exist. For getting the idea about the variety of Italian foods, you should visit every region in Italy and obviously you will realize that, every region has some particular type of foods.
For instances, I want to give some examples of cities and their typical foods and beverages.

The Margherita pizza, whose red tomatoes, green basil, and white cheese represent the Italian flag, was named after her.
