Review: Buonocore, Capri Island

A few time ago, I had a great chance to visit one of the most famous and magical island in the world. I had a trip to Capri Island. Luckily the place where I live, Salerno has a very central location. For instance, it’s so close to some touristic locations such as Naples, Amalfi Coast, Pompei, Caserta, even Rome.For a person who live in Salerno, It’s quite easy thing to have one day trip also to Capri. Some tourist prefer to stay in Salerno in order to save some money since Capri is a very expensive place. So for some people, it may be a logical choice to stay in Salerno and pay less for the accommodation. Therefore, I feel myself very lucky because I’ve been living her for 3 years. Thanks to the central location of Salerno, I visited lot of places.

While we were going to Capri by Ferry, Positano was also on our route. It's amazing, isn't it?

The topic of this entry is Buonocore which means “good hearth”. It’s a name of one ice-cream parlour which is located in Capri. Besides ice cream, it’s possible to find tasty desserts, pastries there. I tasted only ice cream, so I am going to make comments only about the ice creams.

As I've seen, there is always a big crowd in front of the place, inside too. 

Among the numerous tastes, I chose hazelnut and pistachio. They were so delicious and also the combination of hazelnut and pistachio was great. I strongly suggest you to taste especially pistachio due to the fact that it was so particular.

They are making also their own ice cream cone. I suggest you to take the ice cream with their typical ice cream cone. It’s incredibly delicious. The ice cream (max you can choose 2 different types) with their special cone costs 3 €.

As it can be seen, it's such a cute and small place. Not a luxurious, but nice ! 

I’m going to give them 5 stars out of 5. The place is so cute, the ice creams are so delicious and the location of “Buonocore” is so central. For a person who visits Capri, it’s impossible thing to overlook this place. When you come across to “Bounocore”, don’t forget to taste one of the yummiest ice creams in Italy.

As I've said before, it's possible to taste different tastes in Buonocore apart from ice cream. On the picture, you can see some salty and sweet pastries. 

Besides the delicious ice cream of Capri Island, there are lots of bars cafes and restaurants. All of them are generally expensive, however worth it because lots of them offer you also great view of the island. I came across also some restaurants that have Michelin stars.

There are two main sites on the island, Capri and Anacapri. This is a picture from Capri which gives also its name to island. 

It looks like a paradise. 

Among the lemon trees, we came across this little cat. Cats are the real owners of the island.
