Turkish Coffee & Italian Coffee II

As I stated before, there are lots of similarities between Italians and Turkish coffee culture. I am always calling this “coffee culture” because I know clearly that coffee is very meaningful and important tool for people’s life. For both Turkish and Italian coffee, there is one major rule that the people have to consider about it. Generally, water is presented with coffee and the consumer firstly has to drink water before starting to drink coffee. If water is drunk after coffee, it refers that you don’t like coffee so you try to eliminate the undesirable taste of coffee in your mouth. For this reason, I strictly recommend that people who want to taste Italian or Turkish coffee, you have to consider and notice this.

In addition, I have to indicate a general “rule” for cappuccino. The cappuccino is an Italian coffee drink prepared with espresso, hot milk, and steamed-milk froth. People who want to visit Italy have to take into account the drinking time of cappuccino. Everybody thinks that “you can drink it whenever you want ! “ I am sorry but it is not true for “Italian coffee drinking Rule”. Cappuccino is drunk in Italy in the morning so if you try to drink it after lunch or during afternoon or evening, people near to you can easily understand  that you are foreign. For this reason also don’t forget this “rule”. But if you don’t care whether people can think about you are foreign, enjoy whenever you want even at night !! :)
