Turkish Coffee & Italian Coffee III

From my aspect, coffee is one of the oldest beverage that is consumed for a long time by human. In addition, its producing technique is quite interesting and also during my bachelor I took a course named Food Technology and in this lesson one of the subject was Coffee Technology.
The stimulant effect of the coffee is its one of the most important property. Stimulant effect is an effect that make people wake up and this effect is strictly related with the caffeine amount of the coffee. It is clear that the caffeine content of turkish coffee less than espresso. Caffeine content per serving for Turkish coffee 57 mg whereas 100 mg for espresso per serving. Proper Turkish coffee is made from 100 per cent Arabica and Arabica has about 1/3 less caffeine. So Italian coffee has more stimulant effect than Turkish coffee.
By the way, I also want to give some informations about the coffee types in Italy and Turkey. In Turkey, the turkish coffee can be drunk with also gummastic and with gummastic the taste becomes quite interesting. I strongly suggest people who want to visit Turkey to try this taste. I hope that you are going to like it ! In general turkish coffee can be consumed with several types. It can consist of high sugar content or low sugar content. Generally coffee with a middling amount of sugar in it is preferred. It is called in Turkish “orta sekerli turk kahvesi”. Of course there are some other turkish coffee kinds however I tried to give informations about primary kinds.
For Italian coffee, it can be said that it is more complicated because there are more varieties.  When you want to drink coffee in Italy first you should go to bar or caffetteria and you are going to see these main types of coffee on the menu of the bar or caffetteria.
Caffè espresso has a great importance for Italians and their culture. Caffè espresso or simply espresso is a concentrated beverage brewed by forcing a small amount of nearly boiling water under pressure through finely ground coffee.
Caffè espresso macchiato means 'stained', is an Espresso with a dash of foamed milk. At first sight it resembles a small Cappuccino but even if the ingredients are the same as those used for Cappuccino. Macchiato has a much stronger and aromatic taste.
Caffè alla nocciola is caffee type that is prepared with hazelnut. In my openion, this type is very particular.
Cappuccino is a coffee-based drink prepared with espresso, hot milk, and steamed milk foam. The foam on top of the cappuccino acts as an insulator and helps retain the heat of the liquid, allowing it to stay hotter longer.
Caffè lungo refers to the coffee beverage made by using an espresso machine to make an espresso (single or double dose or shot) with much more water (generally twice as much), resulting in a stretched espresso, a lungo.
Caffè Americano is a style of coffee prepared by adding hot water to espresso, giving a similar strength to but different flavor from regular drip coffee.
Caffè corretto is a type of coffee that is prepared with a little aomunt of grappa or alcoholic beverage.
“Generally Italians like drinking coffee with hot cup “tazza calda” because the aromatic compunds are protected thanks to hot cup.”
In stead of drinking coffee at bar or outside, you can buy a mokona and you can enjoy home-made espresso. It has different kinds with different size. The cost for the smallest one is more and less 10 euro. What do you think ? It is not very expensive ?

When you are in bar, never ask for a Coffee Espresso, saying coffee is enough. They get angry when you say espresso :)
