It's fish time !!

Almost 1 month ago, we organized a dinner with friends and we had a great time together! In the dinner, we ate fish, salad and mussels. Fish and seafood are the foods that are very healthy and nutritious. Our fish selection was gilt-head bream, and with the fish, we preferred to eat fried mussels. In this entry, I will try to explain how we prepared the fish and fried mussels.

Tip: Fish should take place in your weekly diet at least 2 times due to the fact that it is low in calories.

According to your preferences, the way of cooking the fishes is changeable. We preferred to cook them with some potatoes, tomatoes, onions and spices in the oven. It was great! It was not heavy and it was delicious really. 
 Gilt-head bream with lemon, tomatoes, potatoes, olive oil and onions. This type of fish is not very expensive. Just you need to be careful: your fish is coming from sea or fish farm. The taste of the real sea fishes is much more delicious and nutritous.

Research over the past few decades has shown that the nutrients and minerals in fish, and particularly the omega 3 fatty acids found in pelagic fishes, are heart-friendly and can make improvements in brain development and reproduction. This has highlighted the role for fish in the functionality of the human body.
 Mussels
Mussel is one of the most important seafoods. The foods which are prepared with mussels exist in almost every cuisine such as Italian cuisine, Spanish cuisine, Turkish cuisine. While you are eating these kind of seafoods, just you need to be careful because it can cause hazardous effect if it comes from the dirty water. 

 The dinner table. Basically it consists of mussels, salad, bread and trator sauce. It is incomplete: White should be served with them!

How we prepared the fried mussels?
I’ve never seen this way of cooking in other countries apart from Turkey. In Turkey, we really like to eat fried mussels. Even from street vendors, you can buy fried mussel sandwich and enjoy it. Some typical Fish restaurants are also serving up this typical type as well. 

Typical Turkish way (in Turkish we call it "Midye Tava")

Its preparation is not very complicated. For the preparation of Turkish style Fried Mussels, you need clean mussels, beer, oil, egg and flour. According to your preference, you can add some salt and black pepper as well. Step by step, how it can be prepared? 
 
Open the mussels by inserting a knife along the flat
Remove them from their shell.
Wash and dry mussels,
Flour (stir flour with black pepper and baking soda )each one separately.
Dip them first into beer,
then into the beaten egg.
Fry in hot oil until golden brown on all sides.

After preparing the fried mussels, we need to prepare also the trator sauce. The souce is incredibly delicious. Please try to make it at your home. You will think the same after tasting it. The question is: What are the ingredients for the sauce?
Walnut
Minced Garlic
Olive Oil
Fresh Bread Crumbs  
Salt & Pepper
The last essential component of the dinner with fish is salad. On the right side of the picture also it can be seen the "trator sauce". They accompany the fish and mussels.
